Flaneur Project
Over the weekend I went on a few adventures. At the start of our extended weekend, I went on a journey to nearby town, Somersworth. It was a cold, gloomy day out as depicted in the images, but I wanted to highlight some of the moments by brightening up the images to show the beauty that cloud cover could give. I was able to play with different lightings and focus on my settings due to the white box I had been given on the grey, but pleasant day.
On my next adventure of the weekend, my buddy and I drove all the way to North Conway, which is known for its scenic views. Even with the overcast sky and fog rolling in there was still beauty to be captured in these moments. What comes with fog is moisture. I did my best to showcase this with a few of the images on Cathedral Ledge. What wasn't as fun was climbing on wet and mossy rock. Which I learned can be extremely frightening. (Sadly, couldn't depict this in my images.) With most the pictures I took, I didn't play with depth of field as much and stuck with working with lighting and practiced using my in-camera histogram to make sure I didn't have too much clipping due to the overcast days.
